ApexChroma was founded on a straightforward belief: that the science of surface appearance deserves better tools. Established in 2024 by a team of colour scientists with deep roots in both academic research and industrial application, we set out to build an instrument capable of capturing the full complexity of how materials look, not just their colour, but gloss, texture, and translucency together, in a single measurement. Today, OPIX serves partners across cosmetics, personal care, home care, coatings, plastics, paper, textiles, packaging, and food industries.
